This product snaps on with ease and is structural. The MetFab
Snap-On 675 has aesthetic value with full design capabilities. With a seam height of
1.75", the MetFab Snap-On 675 is engineered to perform. Installation is fast and
easy. MetFab produces the Snap-On 675 for architects who prefer the
broad width seam, but need the structural capabilities of an engineered system. The fully
integrated seam with fixed clips allows thermal movement and requires no mechanical
seaming to ensure weather-tight integrity. This product can be produced on-site to exact
dimensions, and will allow for an end lap-free installation. The Snap-On 675 can be
installed where the slope is as low as 3/12. MetFab Snap-On 675 meets the
requirements for UL 580 class 90 rating over open framing.
ASTM E 331 84 water penetration test showed no
evidence of uncontrolled leakage at 6.24 psf.* ASTM E 330 84: The 1.75" Snap-On meets the criteria in accordance
with pleated air bag testing (modified ASTM E 330).
